Fourth Friday

This month’s Fourth Friday happens a week before the month’s end. July 1st was a Friday. Do the math. That means there will be a Fifth Friday. Party time begins at 6 p.m. Also, check out The Drowsy Lads in front of city hall at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday Farmers Market

The market opens at 9 a.m. and runs through noon. Plenty of parking in nearby lots. Promise there will be plenty of corn, tomatoes, and a melon or two.

Uptown Saturday Night

The three-day forecast Saturday night will be warm and dry for a performance by Ebony and Ivory on the courtyard in front of city hall. That’s within the DORA perimeter so grab some food and drink and enjoy the night. Come early. Bring friends. Bring chairs. 7 p.m. start.

Sounds of Summer

No concert last Sunday. Too much rain. Way too much rain. This week you can celebrate the heat and humidity to the eclectic sounds of a band with two Gs, SWAGG. Bring chairs, find the shady spots, and get ready to dance beginning at 6:30.
