Germain's New VW Dealership

My Final Photo for July 8 showed a plug of clay and sand pulled from a plot of land where the new Germain VW dealership will be built. It is at the corner of Polaris Parkway and Worthington Road just across the street from Sheetz. Here's the aerial view.

Uptown Dave Returns

After a brief respite to recover from a medical problem, Dave has returned to his regular positions in Uptown Westerville. Expect to see him sitting in the shadows during the summer, especially in the mornings in front of Old Bag. Stop and say hello. Also, he’s now Westerville Dave.

July Fourth Photo Galleries

Published two photo galleries from July 4th parade, the first in two years. First was a blog post showing activities on the parade route and the families gathered to see it. The second was in the My Final Photo Newsletter and more about some of the faces that saw the parade. Subscribe to the My Final Photo Newsletter for more photos and stories about photography.

It’s richer because the first of the summer crops have arrived. First were peaches. Now it’s corn and tomatoes. Next will be a proliferation of peppers, heirloom tomatoes, and more beans and potatoes. Every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon behind city hall.
