Election Day Changes
Birdie’s Book’s Seeks Love
Birdie’s Books will appear before the Uptown Review Board requesting retroactive approval for a light pink mural proclaiming “Love is Love”. Birdie’s previously appeared before the board and was given approval to convert a former residence on State Street into a bookstore. The board also approved changes to the current popup location building color and signage. Birdie’s did not seek approval for the “Love is Love” mural.
More information about the approval request is available on the Uptown Review Board’s meeting agenda. It includes a city staff recommended approval review of the sign. The content of the sign is not in the board’s purview.
The board will also hear ten more approval requests from replacing a trash container fence to signage for Fattey’s Beer. Even the city must request approval for a new roof for city hall.
The Uptown Review Board hears proposed changes to structures in the Uptown District.
Election Day Precinct Changes
The Franklin County Board of Elections lists 13 Westerville precinct changes. Check to make sure you go to the right place. Search the Delaware County Board of Elections if you live outside Franklin County.
National Night Out
On Tuesday night, Westerville police officers will spread throughout the city as part of National Night Out, a series of neighborhood block parties offering contact with police officers, their equipment, and getting a ride in a police car, without handcuffs.
