Uptown Untapped Weekend

Corbin’s Saloon was blown up for serving alcohol less than 1,000 feet away from Saturday’s Uptown Untapped.

Michaels Pizza served the first legal beer in Westerville in 120 years at the restaurant on East College about 200 feet away from the Saturday craft-beer festival that celebrates the end of prohibition and enjoying an evening outdoors Uptown with friends

The party begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. Tickets are available at the gate but are cheaper if you purchase ahead of time.

Alcohol was last served in the city more than 120 years ago. A ballot issue in the November 2005 election approved alcohol sales in Westerville, home to the Anti-Saloon League.
