Tapestry of a Town, Westerville Habitat Partnership’s annual tour of significant historical buildings in Westerville is Sunday, July 31. You’ll visit ten homes and businesses, learn their histories, talk with the owners, and share your experiences.

This year’s tour list includes Westerville’s oldest home.

Tickets are available online, at Pure Roots, and at city hall beginning at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Hoover Opens After Repairs

The walkway over Hoover Dam is open after almost two years of construction to replace parts of the original structure built in 1955. Crews are continuing work inside the dam. A portion of the walkway over the dam still needs concrete repair but that will not need to close the walkway.

West College Street Bricks Replaced

Traffic will soon be back to normal on West College when the bricks are returned to their original location after being removed so the water main could be upgraded. The section of bricks removed and replaced are now on a layer of concrete covered with sand giving the well-traveled street more stability.
